Review: Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser is easily my new Holy Grail cleanser. This luscious cream cleanser has not only saved my skin countless times recently while using retinol and then while experiencing a rosacea flare-up, it is also a pleasure to massage into the skin. It feels like a luxurious, silky, thick lotion, but never gloopy or sticky. It is lightly fragranced, which is lovely and reminds me of vanilla. The fragrance dissipates as soon as you remove the cleanser from your skin. The fragrance did not exacerbate my rosacea, nor did it make my skin more sensitive. I did find the cleanser to be moisturizing, just as the name states. I use it as a morning cleanse or as a second cleanse in the evening—I did not try using it as a makeup remover, as I found it far too nice a product for that, and I wanted it directly on my skin. Suffice it to say, I love this product so much that I already have a back-up in stock. I refuse to be without it.

This cream cleanser is perfect for sensitive, dry, and/or dehydrated skins. However, I would recommend this to anyone with skin…so, to everyone. Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser will soothe and hydrate, without clogging pores or feeling too heavy. It is truly perfection.
